Queer and Trans* in Community Engagement: Understanding LGBTQ Participation in Service

Abstract

Utilizing national survey data, this research explores the community engagement experiences of queer and trans* identified students. Community engagement is nearly ubiquitous in institutions of higher education and the impact of this practice on students has been explored, but queer and trans* experiences are absent from this literature.
