Safe for Whom and from Whom? A Critical Race Theory Analysis of a Texas PWI’s Campus Carry Policy

Abstract

This paper is a CRT analysis of a Texas PWI’s campus carry policy that invokes the questions safe for whom and safe from whom when reviewing the policy. This analysis suggests that educational leaders should scrutinize the notions of safety and risk when crafting campus carry policies.
