Using a mixed method sequential design, this paper considers what experiences contribute to Latino male youth engaging in at-risk behaviors that influence life outcomes, poverty, postsecondary education attainment, and socioeconomic status. Data includes interviews from 45 middle and high school students and data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth.
