The Relationship between Government Appropriations and Online Enrollment at Community Colleges

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between government appropriations and online enrollment at community colleges. We use a fixed effects regression approach to find a positive relationship between state appropriations and online enrollment but a negative relationship between local appropriations and online enrollment.
