The Impact of Student Leadership Experiences Among Former Student Leaders at an HBCU

Abstract

Historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) offer opportunities for immense personal growth to their students. This study extends current discourses and illustrates how HBCUs produce leaders and provides a much needed perspective into the co-curricular leadership experiences that HBCU students experience during their matriculation.
