This symposium presents five topical papers that use equity to frame the gathering, analysis and interpretation of underrepresented students’ experiences and outcomes in high performing transfer partnerships. An important aspect of this inquiry is how structures, policies, cultural norms, and practices within and across partnering institutions dispel or reinforce deficit perspectives.
