An Alternative to Survey Texts in Higher Education History

Abstract

This session explores an alternate way to conceptualize the history of higher education and attempts to provide educators with a set of principles about organizing historical content that does not heavily depend on survey texts. Participants will apply these principles to their own work as educators.
