Inmigrantes Presente: The Stories of Two Mexican Immigrant Women Claiming Their Rightful Place In Academe

Abstract

Two Mexican immigrant women interrogate their place in academe through the use of testimonio. They contemplate how their collective educational experiences give them the will to persist despite living through the age of Trump. Their testimonios are offered as counternarratives to blatant anti-immigrant sentiments and hate speech on campuses.
