Presentation points to the history of black and quilombol women's movements in Central Brazil. Revisiting their social, political and cultural production as part of epistemic flows and abolitionist literacies under the leadership of black women who have their historical experiences in the Cerrado biome, the cradle of waters in Central Brazil. Based on sources from the contemporary black press, it addresses political incidences, organizations and strategies of resistance and struggle for ecological and environmental justice and the emancipation of black women in Central Brazil.
