When the Slave ships docked in America, Brazil and the Caribbean, hundreds of cultures, traditions, and religions landed with the Africans on board, one transcended slavery beyond imagination and remains alive till this day in the New world: the Yoruba culture. This Documentary takes you on a journey through Brazil, The United States, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago and back to where it all began in West Africa. This Yoruba Culture was said to have survived Slavery & arduous plantation life to become the most prominent African culture in the New World.
