This is an international, multi-media round-table discussion among scholars/activists and beneficiaries of the life and legacy of Tomas Fernandez Robaina.

Participants include:

Fannie Theresa Rushing, Ph.D., Professor of History, Benedictine University, Lisle, Illinois

Aisha Finch, Ph.D.,Associate Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Emory University.

Matthew Pettway, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Spanish, University of South Alabama.

Catherine Murphy, educator, award -winning documentarian, and creator, of Maestra, on the Cuban Literacy Project and documentaries of Staughton Lynd and Paulo Freire for Brazilian National T.V.

Frank Andre Guridy is the Dr. Kenneth and Kareitha Forde Professor of African American and African Diaspora Studies.

Ben Jones, educator, internationally known, award-winning artist.
