This manuscript attempts to delineate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy regarding the interpretation of the First Amendment by examining eighteen decisions penned by the Justice. Specifically, this analysis focus on the “path markers” left by the Justice for future members of the judiciary to utilize in freedom of speech proceedings. Notably, Ginsburg denoted four steadfast path markers, which cumulate in a legacy of stability, judicial restraint, and the continued veneration of the First Amendment.
