The journalism profession is under increasing scrutiny from mergers, charges of ‘fakery’ and technological challenges. Journalists are now dealing with disruption of normal routines due to the pandemic. They are increasingly turning to SNS (social networking sites) for information seeking to deal with technological problems, job advice, critiques and emotion support. This case study exams a closed Facebook group on how journalists use as a coping mechanism during traumatic times.
