Building a Relationship with CTE Vocational High School Media Programs for Future Advanced Degrees

Abstract

College faculty sometime form a relationship with their Community High School Media Magnet Programs. With Vocational Programs in Film and Television and Digital Media on the rise in these Career Technical Education Programs, Colleges and Universities look to mentor the curriculum, and what students need to know to enter into Higher Ed majors in the field, as well as recruit from an Admissions standpoint. This panel will look at college professors who are currently in relationships with their states local CTE Media programs as Board Members, Mentors, or Dual-Enrollment teachers and included Vocational HS teachers in the relationship with these professors.
