Abstract

Educational broadcast facilities bear the responsibility of training students for jobs in the “real world.” Beyond just functionality & reliability, they should be kept up to date and reflect modern technology & modern practices. New requirements for remote broadcasting and virtual studios has added to the stress. This panel will explore current expectations of a broadcast training facility, how to create a maintenance and update plan, and how to fund major projects.
