Description of Session

The Gender and Education Committee invites conference attendees to join us for our annual pre-conference workshop. The theme for this year's workshop is Gender, Peace Building and Education. This workshop is appropriate for early-career and experienced scholars, activists, policy-makers, practitioners, and anyone else interested in learning about how gender, peace building and education intersect. This workshop is appropriate for gender and peace building experts, as well as newcomers to the field. We will provide participants an introduction to the field, blending theory with case studies and application; and provide attendees with resources for teaching, research and practice. Join us for engaging conversation, hands-on workshop activities and essential networking with gender, peace building and education specialists from around the world. The workshop takes place on March 8th from 1pm to 5pm.
