As more individuals and organizations recognize the importance of conflict sensitivity for education programming, implementation, evaluation and research, there is increased demand for a range of training materials and modalities that appropriately convey key concepts in Conflict Sensitive Education. To help address this need, the Education in Crisis and Conflict Network (ECCN) and INEE (Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies), collaboratively developed a two-hour online training course. The course draws from existing INEE training materials and targets practitioners who are or will be working in the Education in Crisis and Conflict (EICC) field. In this presentation, course designer Nour Mounajed describes the guiding design parameters for the course, offers a short course overview, and engages session participants in a discussion of how such an online course can be best used in institutionalizing conflict sensitive organizations within organizations working in EICC.
