Proposal

The growth of the non-state sector in developing education markets over the past decade has been rapid and transformative. The sector itself is highly diverse both within and between countries, and there has been similar diversity in the policies governments and other actors have enacted to guide interaction with the sector.

This roundtable will draw lessons from national case studies that have experimented with different approaches to involving the non-state sector in delivering education goals. It will draw reflections on what types of approaches are the most successful in encouraging a positive impact as well as sharing lessons learnt.
