Proposal

To explore the features, problems, and strategies on teachers’ professional development in China, JLNU has been involving in the theoretical and empirical researches on Chinese primary and middle school teachers systematically. The participants include primary, middle school, and senior high school English teachers as well as IT teachers. Based on the existing theories, results, and findings from team researches, the present team proposes that teacher education should insist on the paradigm of cultivating, which aims to develop Four-have teachers by cultivating benevolence, laying a solid foundation, developing moral sentiments, and establishing ideas and believes.

吉林师范大学教师教育团队对中国中小学教师专业发展的现状问题进行了系列的理论分析与实证调研，并提出“养成式”的教师教育范式，旨在培养有“仁爱之心、扎实学识、道德情操和理想信念”、可持续发展的教师。
