A geopolitical perspective on Europe’s ET 2020/EEA strategies

Proposal

In a more conceptual note, the paper discusses ET 2020/EEA from a geopolitical perspective, framing these cooperation frameworks in terms of their integration in Europe’s geopolitics of knowledge. It presents and discusses geopolitics of knowledge as a conceptual lens by contrasting two different strands of the debate: one related to ‘knowledge-based economization’ (Moisio 2018) and the other referring to a decolonial critique knowledge production and the construction of a pluriverse (Mignolo 2002, 2003; Reiter 2018). The paper aims at bringing together insights from previous papers and integrating them in a geopolitical perspective of the role of education and training in Europe.
