The second paper in the panel will present the findings from a rigorous and replicable literature review that conceptualizes how COVID has impacted international student mobility and internationalization-at-home. The systematic review, conducted in 2021, is the first in a three-year project that will continue to monitor the field to understand both short- and medium-term impacts of COVID-19 on internationalization. The review identified 90 articles or analytical reports published between March 2020- September 2021 on the topic of COVID-19 and international student mobility or internationalization-at-home. The paper will provide an overview of the findings from the review, including: primary publication venues, geographic coverage, and major findings from existing literature on the topic. In so doing, the paper will identify gaps in existing knowledge and avenues for future research.
