Proposal

The importance of family-school collaboration is self-evident. How big data enables family-school collaboration is a vital and meaningful topic under the era of big data. This study detailed outlines the design philosophy, methods of practicing, and data collection of an innovated big data based family-school collaboration. Going through a non-noticeable data feed in process and conducting teachers, parents, and students’ behavior analysis thereafter, the result validates that there is a significantly positive relationship between family-school engagement and students’ academic performance. Given the nature of internet, the boundary-less and free flow will promote the enlightenment of the subject research internationally, where the new approach on family-school collaboration can be mirrored and practiced in various settings. This is a powerful expression of Improving Education For a More Equitable World.
