This presentation is part of the overall panel session on 'Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE): Initiatives in Education Finance that are Fostering the ECCE Sector'. The presentation will focus on the results of a recent global landscape assessment of the ECCE sector in low and middle income countries sponsored by USAID under the CATALYZE EduFinance Activity.
The presentation will provide a set of key take-aways from the landscape assessment, in such areas sector overview (key sectoral factors and operational considerations and opportunities for the role of blended and education finance); innovative approaches (what innovative models in ECCE are most applicable for scale up); and country context (applicability of country context to catalytic investments, who are potential collaborators for blended finance investments and most promising potential entry points for impact investing in the ECCE sector in low and middle income countries).
