Overarching results of the project include over 1,900 children and adolescents and 600
caregivers participating in community play spaces. 392 teachers were supported with SEL
focused training with an indirect each of 20,000 students. Additionally, over 183,000 users
connected to On the Air with Harry/Al Aire con Enrique via community media channels and
over 4 million via national radio audience. The richest information came from having spaces to
hear from caregivers, children and youth on what they wanted from this program, what content
and activities mattered most to them, what excited and motivated them and how they played in
their country of origin but also in their communities and homes. Furthermore, the design research
which included testing of materials, activities, extending to branding of the project was
consistently inclusive of children and their caregivers resulting in higher levels of satisfaction.
