Description of Session

Award winners for the following will be announced:
Honorary Fellows Award, George Bereday Award for the Best Article in the Comparative
Education Review, Joyce Cain Award for Distinguished Research on African Descendants,
Gail P. Kelly Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, Jackie Kirk Award for
Outstanding Book, Elizabeth Sherman Swing Award, African Inclusive Literary Research
Award and the International Travel Award for Distinguished Service in Educational Reform.
Winners who are attending CIES 2024 in-person will be invited to give a short acceptance
speech.
