As a result of the Diffusion of Innovation, as a pedagogical research expert of mixed methodology, I constantly ask myself, what am I doing and why am I doing it? When I envision the “Perfect” classroom amid Technological Determinism, AI, and the Diffusion of Innovation, I remain focused on a student’s emotional well-being while learning and their ability to learn and retain key lessons in class. I reevaluated self-reflections and how students use AI. Do they like using forms of AI? What kinds? Why or why not? How can I include this in class methodology and should I? I have found some forms of AI and technology appear to enable teachers to gain valuable insight. Do their teaching methodologies work? Are students learning what you want them to learn? Additionally, it has been said that when it comes to Student Research Scholars, AI activists, and scholars call for ‘data justice’. I propose this research includes more than an examination and practice of “fair and ethical treatment around the collection, processing, and use of data for individuals and communities (Arora, 2019).” I would argue that the research includes strategies of empowerment that can be global - which moves students from Silos to Interconnectivity of a higher measure.
