Leveraging technology for education management: A partnership approach for action

Proposal

Building on current initiatives, GPE has adopted its approach on technology for education – Tech4Ed - and puts data at the center to improve system effectiveness. This approach promotes stronger government leadership, collaboration among partners, as well as innovation. GPE will therefore continue to support partners in general and the Gambia’s education data systems in particular through the implementation of their priority reform to enhance countries’ capacity to act on evidence and make evidence-based decisions. One of the key focus areas of GPE technical and financial assistance is to help improve education sector governance through the use of data and technology to boost learning.
