Description of Session

Speed Mentoring provides a unique opportunity to help conference attendees—particularly students and early-career professionals—learn firsthand from practitioners, academics, and other professionals working across CIE areas about diverse career paths in comparative and international education. This event is structured in a “speed dating” format, and participants ("mentees") meet and network with “mentors,” and ask them pressing career questions. The event places a special emphasis on career paths outside of academia (e.g., with NGOs, research institutes, think tanks, development agencies, foundations, study abroad offices, independent consultancies, and others).
