Integrating Website Design, Evaluation, and Analytics into an Introductory MIS Course

Abstract

Hands-on experience is very important to motivate students in the introductory MIS course. We creatively integrate a three-phase class project into such a course: website design, website evaluation, and website analytics using Google Analytics. Feedback from over 300 students in two public universities validates the utility of this class project.
