Logistics IT Resources, Organizational Factors, and Operating Performance: An Investigation into Domestic Logistics Firms in China

Abstract

Focusing on domestic logistics firms in China, we identify that operations-focused IT, decision-focused IT, and IT development capability are more related to superior operating performance than is service-focused IT. Moreover, organizational factors, firm age and firm ownership, may enhance or suppress the effects of logistics IT resources on operating performance.
