Application of Le Corbusier’s Radian City in Korean Suburbs and Strategic Implications

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Le Corbusier’s Ville Radieuse (radian city) concept in Korea and its implications on business and strategy. Based on the related literature, secondary data and discussion, the author describes conceptual and historical backgrounds and provides several agenda items regarding this topic. Both scholars and practitioners are expected to obtain meaningful implications on how to understand local housing trends and reflect it to business strategies in Korea and other countries with similar culture from this study.
