Blockchain, as an emerging technology, can have a significant impact on supply chain information and financial flows. Its characteristics, such as smart contracts, immutability, and decentralized databases, can enhance supply chain management information systems. The motivation behind organizations adopting supply chain digitalization which heavily relies upon supply chain information and financial flows is the occurrence of supply chain disruptions. This paper aims to use a system thinking method to explain how blockchain can mitigate cyber-attacks by facilitating supply chain digitalization. The findings demonstrate that blockchain can contribute to supply chain digitalization, leading to improved cyber resilience during cyber-attacks.
