A machine learning decision-making framework for pharmaceutical supply chains

Abstract

Uncertain demand presents significant challenges to the pharmaceutical industry, often leading to drug shortages. Drug shortages influence human life, impacting society health and inadequate disease management. The proposed framework employs machine learning algorithms to address the complex and dynamic challenges within pharmaceutical supply chains by addressing drug shortages. Pharmaceutical companies can gain valuable insights into the complexity of drug shortage by using machine learning algorithms to predict and mitigate supply chain disruptions, identify demand patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
