A Text Mining Approach in Blockchain-based Information Sharing Systems: Machine Learning Algorithms in Theory Development

Abstract

Blockchain technology can improve healthcare management by providing secure and reliable information sharing systems. However, further research is needed to fully explore its potential and limitations in healthcare information systems. This study employs text mining techniques to uncover existing themes and unexplored areas. Through word cloud and n-gram analyses of collected tweets, prevalent trends are identified. Utilizing a parsimonious semantic coherence index for a structural topic model (STM), the optimal number of topics is determined, which is a five-topic model. This research presents established themes and unexplored facets of healthcare information sharing systems within the scope of blockchain technology.
