This study explores how policy uncertainty influences supply chain resilience- shaping both firms’ vulnerabilities and capabilities. Geopolitical shifts- a major concern for SCM leaders, policymakers, and consumers- influence decisions, amplify risk, and complicate planning. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with experienced SCM leaders across industries, we examine how policy uncertainty exposes firms to shocks and prompts adaptive responses. Preliminary findings suggest that uncertainty amplifies risk and disrupts decision-making while also driving resource investment in resilience capabilities. Insights contribute to research linking public policy and SCM resilience and clarifies how firms navigate turbulent policy environments.
