The paper discusses the importance of translation of the instrument on the comparability of the data collected using this instrument. The paper demonstrates how eliminating one “unnecessary” word from the question impacts the measurement results. The paper analyzes the data from the school-based ISRD4 (N=6,349) study in Estonia conducted in 2023.
