In the ever-evolving landscape of cyberspace, the actions of individuals and groups shape the discourse and dynamics of online activity. This project specifically focuses on malicious hackers that use their skills for activism, otherwise known as hacktivists. This is a comparative analysis of hacktivists and non-hacktivists and the strategies and attack vectors they employ. Additionally, we delve into the divergent motivations and ethical considerations these groups report. This research will contribute to the nuances of digital activism and those that use hacking as a tool for socio-political change.
