Bystander training programs aimed at reducing sexual violence in high school and college populations are widely implemented in the United States but remain less common in Europe. In this presentation, we discuss preliminary findings from a focus group study exploring Danish high school students’ initial impressions of the Bringing in the Bystander® curriculum. Beyond assessing the practical feasibility of implementing this American program in a Danish context, we examine students’ perspectives on its acceptability, perceived usefulness, and the potential need for cultural adaptation. These findings serve as an initial step toward informing evidence-based bystander programming in Denmark.
