Juvenile delinquency remains a complex phenomenon influenced by social, psychological, and systemic factors. The CONNECT FAMILY program, supported by the Greek Ministry of Health, seeks to address youth violence and delinquency through a multi-layered intervention model that combines psychosocial support, restorative justice practices, and digital monitoring tools.
This presentation will showcase the first analysis of the collected data, offering a unique insight into the needs of young people as expressed by themselves, the perspectives of professionals working in the field, and preliminary effectiveness indicators of the program. The study utilizes a triangulated approach, incorporating:
1. Self-reported experiences and needs of at-risk youth
2. Qualitative and quantitative data from professionals
3. Program impact metrics
By integrating youth perspectives, professional insights, and program evaluation data, this study contributes to evidence-based policy recommendations for enhancing juvenile justice frameworks across Europe. Our findings advocate for strengthening community-based rehabilitation models that prioritize prevention, empowerment, and cross-sectoral cooperation.
