Fri, September 5, 8:00 to 9:15am, Communications Building (CN), CN 3103

Abstract

This research is part of a chapter of the doctoral thesis that I am carrying out within the Basque Institute of Criminology (UPV/EHU), on the Basque Country 2050 Climate Change Strategy. Thus, it aims to make an approach to climate crime from a green criminological and sociological prism, addressing socioeconomic issues and the impact of climate crime on vulnerable groups, such as women, minors... Therefore, it is of special interest climate social justice at the service of Human Rights and the potential of Criminology to work on these issues both at the international and national level, taking into account the current legislations. All of the above, with the aim of making criminological and victimological proposals to inform public policies.
