Online Child Sexual Abuse in Poland: The Experiences of Polish Adolescents

Abstract

This presentation aims to introduce the findings on Online Child Sexual Abuse (OCSA) in ISRD4 Poland. We present the OCSA victimization experiences and their dynamics among Polish adolescents. This presentation is based on the statistical analysis of Polish ISRD4 data. The school-based survey was conducted in 2023-2034 in two large Polish cities, Bialystok and Rzeszow, using the ISRD4 standardized questionnaire with an added national module on online child sexual abuse. The primary purpose of the paper is descriptive, as a first step to lay the groundwork for testing theoretical hypotheses on factors related to OCSA victimization.
