This study compares self-reported rates of victimization and offending among adolescents collected through two distinct methods within the ISRD4 project: the traditional school-based sample (SBS) and a newly implemented internet-based sample (IS). The SBS comprises responses from 8th-11th grade students surveyed in classroom settings using the standardized ISRD4 questionnaire, while the IS employs a shortened version optimized for mobile devices and targets predominantly 16–19-year-olds . Our objective is to assess the comparability of these two data collection modes and to examine whether methodological differences influence the prevalence and nature of reported delinquent behaviors.
