Restorative Justice and Alternation Sanctions in the Conditions of the Slovak Republic

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to point out the impact and consequences of the current legislative changes in the field of criminal law in the Slovak Republic, inter alia, through the comparative method with foreign legislation (e.g. Czech Republic, Austria). In the paper the author verifies the hypothesis whether the amendment of the criminal law in the Slovak Republic in 2024 was a real or only imaginary milestone of restorative justice in the Slovak Republic? The author used standard methods for social sciences in the paper.
