Abstract

The Journal of Criminal Justice Education (Taylor & Francis/Routledge) is placing special focus in 2025 on international education and study abroad. As a small highlight of two special issues dedicated to this theme, a small group of scholars will discuss their experiences with short and long term study abroad/study away criminal justice courses. This will include discussion of planning dos and don'ts, mentorship opportunities between graduate and undergraduate students, and handling special issues while abroad (e.g., physical health, mental health, conflict).
