There has been a tremendous growth in basic research and intervention research on human trafficking activities around the world. This panel has gathered four articles representing some of the most challenging aspects of current efforts in human trafficking research and intervention. All authors have been active in the trafficking research for many years and are now sharing their empirically grounded concerns as well as suggestions on how best to move the field forward.
