Best practices on victims` rights - a comparative approach

Abstract

Although the EU Victims' Rights Directive has been implemented for quite some time in European countries, there are still quite different practices in countries based on National Law.
The best practices of the countries will be identified, critically analyzed and compared starting with the legal framework, continued with the involvement of public authorities and NGOs (including the cooperation between them), ending with victimization surveys, specialized literature.
