The Suanshu unearthed from Western Han Tomb No.77 at Shuihudi, Yunmeng, consists of a total of 216 bamboo slips. The title, Suanshu, is inscribed on the reverse side of the first slip. What is particularly remarkable is that work was well-preserved at the time of excavation, with a clear sequential order of the bamboo slips from beginning to end. Its contents are extremely rich, covering various aspects such as the calculation of farmland areas, volume calculations, grain conversions, proportional distribution, and extraction of square roots. Undoubtedly, it holds great value for understanding the mathematics of the Qin and Han dynasties.
