Tacit Knowledge: Early Career Publishing

English Abstract

Sponsored by the HSS Graduate and Early Career Caucus (GECC), this roundtable brings together scholars based in both the US and Europe to discuss early career publishing. Scholars at various career stages will speak on: publishing articles in graduate school, writing first manuscripts and securing book contracts, navigating different publishing environments and regional expectations, building professional development around publishing within graduate student curriculum, and what it means to transition to work in publishing post-grad.

We also invite editors, publishers, and scholars organizing volumes to attend and share opportunities and calls for proposals!
