Abstract

This study aims to analyze the online networks of cancer survivors, focusing on how weak ties work to provide support for cancer survivors. How different coping strategies lead to different networking structures in online supporting communities for cancer survivors is examined. Whether differences in natures of cancer and gender lead to different structures of online social networks is also investigated.
