Abstract

This session looks at news ways of expressing identity and engaging in resistance among marginalised populations through digitally networked ICTs and social media. It critically evaluates such practices in the content of the developing world, in countries such as India and Nigeria, and in the Arab world, as well as in relation to biotechnology and agriculture.
